“Beautiful & peaceful monastery for church overnight retreats. The new building & short trails around the monastery were completed within the recent years, so the place is even better than it used to be .”

“I recently had the privilege of attending Mass at this Catholic church and spirituality center, and I was truly moved by the experience. The priests were exceptionally welcoming, devoted, and warm-hearted—their presence created a profound sense of belonging from the moment I walked in. The Mass itself was impeccably conducted, deeply reverent, and spiritually enriching.
The atmosphere of the church fosters peace and reflection, making it not only a place of worship but a true sanctuary for the soul. I left feeling uplifted and grateful. I highly recommend this church to anyone seeking a meaningful spiritual encounter.”

“I attended the Lenten retreat March 21-23, 2025, and will say that it was an excellent Catholic retreat. The priests are highly educated, qualified, skilled and engaging communicator of the true Catholic faith. Through this experience, my opinion is that we of the Catholic faith in this area are truly blessed to have this beautiful site, and quality personnel to access in our own ongoing personal spiritual growth, and to consider making Mount Carmel our home away from home. Thank you to the priests and all the staff for your deep commitment.”

“Thank you so much for all the preparation and work that went into providing this Lenten Retreat. It certainly has enriched my Lenten journey.
I have been to many retreats over the years and I believe this one excelled in many ways. The talks were informative and given with a spiritual wisdom spoken from the heart. They left me with much to reflect on to grow in holiness in turning back to God on a daily basis by receiving His merciful love and in turn giving His love to others.
I appreciated the silent component of the retreat which for me elevates the spiritual aspect to another level. The highlights of the weekend were:
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with guided meditations and music to bring Saturday evening to a close. It was such a beautiful time dedicated to our Lord – heavenly.
and the final Mass Sunday morning, also heavenly, which brought me to a deeper worship of God because it was celebrated ad orientem as well as having the beautiful reverent music provided by the choir.  Also, observing the holiness and reverence of the other Carmelite priests during morning prayers and at other times was inspiring. The location is ideal, the food was excellent, and beverages readily available throughout was a very nice touch.
 God bless,”
