Advent Lessons and Carols
Saturday, December 13 • 6:30 p.m.
Join us for a meditative and deeply prayerful evening in preparation for Christmas. This traditional Advent service features nine readings from Scripture and selections from the Church Fathers, each reflecting on the coming of Christ.
Music & Leadership
Led by: Cantemus Domino
Directed by: Mark McPeek
Organist: Kaitlyn Winski
Between the readings, the congregation will join in well-loved Advent hymns, and the choir will offer sacred choral music by Palestrina, Hassler, and other masters of the Church’s musical tradition.
The service will conclude with a sung Compline (Night Prayer) from the Liturgy of the Hours, offering a peaceful end to the day.
